Active Membership
Through participation with GMNBR committees, members volunteer their time and ideas to plan and organize special events, select award and scholarship recipients, generate educational programs and influence legislation affecting real estate. GMNBR recognizes its top performers at various award ceremonies held during the year.
Community Impact
GMNBR members take part in community projects and attend to issues that have an affect on home ownership, housing affordability and private property rights. Our members volunteer in a number of ways, from organizing blood drives and fundraisers, to painting and repairing homes for low-income and elderly residents.
Educational Development
GMNBR offers comprehensive education to address the needs of all real estate professionals. Our programs assist members in meeting their educational requirements and in acquiring various designations. GMNBR hosts numerous seminars and training programs in order to keep members abreast of the rapid changes in the real estate industry.
Industry News
Every month GMNBR members receive the REALTOR® Magazine and the New Hampshire Association of REALTORS' (NHAR) Emagazine, along with electronic communications from the National Association of REALTORS (NAR), NHAR and GMNBR. These publications are designed to increase business success for our members by alerting them to news, upcoming events and changes in the industry.
Networking Opportunities
GMNBR members are offered assorted forums which enable them to interact among their professional peers. Events such as the quarterly membership meetings, new member orientations, educational seminars and a variety of social activities provides members an opportunity to establish business and personal contacts.
Political Voice
GMNBR members are directly involved in the political process by way of RPAC campaigns, monitoring public policy, attending political forums and holding public office. Through their proactive approach, our members are able to influence legislation and represent REALTOR® concerns at the local, state and national levels. As a result, REALTORS® have become a recognized entity in local politics and an effective grass roots force.
Professionalism
The REALTOR® Code of Ethics sets forth a standard of conduct that is the hallmark of what REALTORS® represent and accounts for the time honored integrity of the profession. If a legal dispute does arise GMNBR’S Legal Committee has procedures in place for resolving complaints for both the members and the public. Our arbitration and mediation services are a valuable alternative to costly litigation.
